The Zonta Club of the Conejo Valley Area is a service group consisting of women executives in business. Through the efforts of the clubs members, a Foundation has been established to fund scholarships to women seeking to acquire additional education and skills in order to return to employment after being out of the paid work force to care for their families.
The Zonta Foundation of the Conejo Valley Area is offering three $750 scholarships to career-oriented, re-entry students with a sincere need for financial assistance. Two scholarships will be awarded in honor of Dr. Maxine Crossley to qualified students and a third scholarship is reserved for a qualifying student majoring in graphic arts desktop publishing to honor the late Martha Desch, a local, well-known writer, editor and graphic artist. The Foundations representatives reserve the right to allocate scholarships on an as-needed basis.
