The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships

Deadline is April 30, 2002.

The Zonta Club of the Conejo Valley Area is accepting applications for the Zonta International (ZI) Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship that will be awarded on a district level ($400.00) in September 2002. Five international scholars chosen from the district scholars will receive $4000.00 each.

The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded to women in the business field at the undergraduate level who have demonstrated outstanding potential in the field. The ZI Foundation established the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships in 1997 for women pursuing an undergraduate degree in business leading to a business management career. The program was established from a bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, NY and the 1990-1995 ZI Parliamentarian.

To qualify an applicant must have completed two-three years in an accredited undergraduate program; demonstrate outstanding academic credentials; clearly identify the relevance of the applicant's academic program to the business field; and specifically outline the applicant's professional and career goals as they relate to advancing women in the field of business.
